AKINTAYA/WINDISCH

Julius Windisch studied jazz piano in Bern, Copenhagen, Amsterdam and Berlin.
Deutschlandfunk wrote about his trio's 2021 debut: “Exciting and very colorful music (...) Lyrical, fragile moods blend wonderfully with powerful, energetic passages.”
Scholarships and residencies have taken him to Norway, Switzerland, Italy & France. From 2021-2023 he curated the concert series lit with Robert Lucaciu.
In November 2023, in its own pace of his current working band immerweiter was released on Boomslang Records. The band went on tour in Japan in fall 2024 and played several concerts in Georgia, including at Mutant Radio Tbilisi, and Turkey in June 2025. He can be heard as a sideman on albums and at concerts by Camilla Battaglia, Maxine Troglauer, Erik Leuthäuser & Moritz Stahl. In May 2025 "sometimes it's hard" was released - an album with the electric bassists Luca Curcio & Christian Dähne on which he sings his own songs. Windisch also regularly plays improvised organ concerts and released an organ album with recordings from southern Italy in 2023. In 2026 he will premiere a new work for organ and string quartet with the Bremen string quartet Pulse.
Lukas Akintaya is a Berlin-based drummer, composer, Creative producer and educator. Widely known for his activity and (co-) creation within the European-American improvised music scene, he also dwells in experiential solo projects and collaboration with dance, theatre, performance and installation arts. Lukas’s sound ranges from atmospherical instrumental soundscapes, melodic compositions, personal poetry and politically engaged story telling.

WAP-Duality is a duo from Berlin formed by pianist and keyboardist Lana Mari and multi-instrumentalist Jonathan Boudevin.
Surprisingly full and authentic sound produced by Boudevin on drums, samples, Microkorg, vocal and Mari on Synths, Samples, Vocal captivates the public with intensive drive.
Making a truly impressive performance full of virtuous instrumental interaction, unexpected elements, rhythmical illusions, sometimes lyrical intensity,
sometimes humor, where both musicians playfully exchange roles between each other, Mari and Boudevin aim for a sophisticated merging of different influences, which leads to what they call "Dramatic Beats". Strong hip-hop touch through explicit sample use and “broken” beats easily live together with the classical Vocal elements and Avant garde electronics in the music of WAP-Duality.
The duet’s name, Wap Duality, refers to the concept of the unity of particles and energy in quantum physics. For the musicians, this notion felt metaphorical in reflecting their own musical aspirations. Wap Duality eagerly absorbs new musical trends, only to melt them into a unique, cohesive whole.
WAP-Duality is an original soundtrack for the invisible movie, which will run in your imagination once you will dive into their music.
