Led by Ayman Asfour,

the concert builds on his latest album release, Sardy Fardy,

which brings together Ayman as a composer and a violinist

with artists from Berlin’s diverse music scene and diaspora.

Through odd soloing, melodic narratives, and spontaneous

musical encounters, each musician is invited to express their individual voice and musical background. Music becomes a

vehicle for self-expression, interpretation, and dialogue,

moving between composed material and the unexpected possibilities of improvisation.

The collaboration creates a space where different musical languages coexist, interact, and transform one another. Rather than presenting a fixed musical identity, Sardy Fardy in Motion explores how musicians shape and reshape their artistic expressions through listening, responding, and playing together.

Sardy Fardy in Motion is a collaboration between Safi and Ayman Asfour, presented as part of Safi’s ongoing approach to support and contribute to Berlin’s artistic development through collaboration, exchange, and the creation of spaces for artistic expression.
