LIZ KOSACK
Berlin-based synthesizer artist and mask maker Liz Kosack opens the night with a deeply personal and otherworldly solo performance. Known for her singular approach to electronic sound and striking visual aesthetics, Kosack merges sonic experimentation with theatrical presence, creating immersive works that blur the lines between identity, performance, and improvisation. Expect rich, organic synth textures and a stage persona that challenges perception.

TAU
Formerly TAU5, the genre-shifting quintet TAU takes the stage with an explosive blend of avant-garde jazz, electronic manipulation, and ambient atmospheres. With members hailing from Cologne and Berlin-Neukölln—Moritz Baumgärtner (drums), Philipp Gropper (sax), Philip Zoubek (keys), Ludwig Wandinger, and Felix Henkelhausen (bass)—TAU’s music is in constant flux: structured yet fluid, futuristic yet deeply rooted. They don't just play jazz—they reimagine its future.
TAU treats sound as suspended time - neither rooted in tradition nor bound for resolution. Rather than fixed compositions, they generate a system of gestures, ruptures, and sonic residues.
Structure dissolves as quickly as it forms. Melody drifts, fragments echo and reassemble. Acoustic and electronic elements blur into a space where causality falters and form remains fluid.
This is not performance but process-a sonic archaeology of the present, where sound exists without destination, charged by what remains unresolved.
